01Objective
MG needed the Gloster in front of media before the car was officially launched. A pre-launch drive is the hardest coverage there is: the car cannot be seen publicly yet, the people in the room write about cars for a living, and there is no second attempt once the embargo lifts.
02How we solved it
I ran it as an event rather than a handover. Route, halts and running order built so every journalist got real time in the car instead of a queue, and the drive scheduled into dusk and after dark, where the Gloster looks like what it costs. Headlights through dust, the badge catching the last light, the crew around the cars.
